Work ramblings

I usually don’t blog from my iPod while at work, but my god I really hate people sometimes. I’ve had my fair share of really stupid customers (working at a milk tea place) but this one chick from today has earned the award for being THE dumbest person I’ve ever had to deal with (either that, or she just has a really bad hearing problem, in which I should apologize for writing this rant).

Her - Hi, can I order calamari?
Me - Oh sorry, we only have chicken and lobster balls right now.
Her - Okay, cam I just get curly fries then?
Me - We only have chicken and lobster balls right now.
Her - um do you have garlic fries?
Me - We only have chicken and lobster balls right now.
Her - I’ll take the fried zucchini sticks then.
Me - We only have chicken and lobster balls right now.
Her - do you guys have ramen?

NIGGA THIS IS A SMALL ASS MILK TEA PLACE WITH ONLY VERY VERY LIMITED FOOD/SNACK OPTIONS. WE DON’T HAVE RAMEN WTF

So yeah, she then orders a bunch of random drinks and the total comes out to 11.38 or something like that. And pays with a $10 bill. So I’m standing there waiting for her to pay the rest of the total and she kinda just stands there with a clueless look on her face.

Me - your total comes out to $11.38
Her - yes

…. THE FUCK KIND OF ANSWER IS THAT?!?!

Me - uh yeah… You’re $1.38 short
Her - what? I paid with a $10 bill
Me - yeah.. And the total exceeds $10. You need to pay the difference.
Her - Ohhhhhh…

So yeah. And now here I am. Leaning against the counter in a shitty mood counting down the…hours… until I’m off. Fuck me.
